Earth Day Writing Samples

So, what's in their pockets? Nature poems, of course!  Everyone made an "I ♥ Earth Pocket" and stashed an original poem inside. {Budding poets used thesauruses to add punch to their writing.}   Crayola Construction Paper Crayons deposited vibrant color on the bright blue paper.  Brass brads held it all together.

Here are a few samples of our Earth Day Lunes :

Names had to be smudged out in PS; next time, I'll take pics before the names go on the front, to save time.
